Critical reception

On June 1, 2009, Chameleon Circuit began shipping. Over 1,000 units were sold and shipped the first week of release, making it DFTBA's biggest album launch to date. Over the following two weeks, Chameleon Circuit were interviewed for numerous blogs and online publications, before receiving a full-page interview and review in the official Doctor Who Magazine.

On June 23, Chameleon Circuit hit the #37 spot on iTunes' Top 100 Rock Albums chart.
