"No Sacrifice" is the seventh track on the debut album Parrot Stories by Alex Day.

Notes
This song was written in December 2008, during a time when Alex had no internet access - "Hearts" and "A Thousand Hours" were written in the same week, and "Don’t Look Back" was written later that month. Alex tried to write a song that shifts from major to minor variations of the same chord because he was inspired by the band McFly, who often practice this. The song is a personal thought process questioning motives and moral boundaries.
