Notes

The album began production on February 8, 2010 at Dreamtrak Studios in Hackney, London, where Alex's debut album Parrot Stories, his EP 117% Complete, and producer Tom Milsom's album Painfully Mainstream, were all previously recorded. They unusually recorded one track per session in order of the planned track listing.

Alex announced on March 26, 2010 that The World Is Mine would be "twinned" (in a similar manner to cities or towns) with Charlie McDonnell's upcoming as-of-yet untitled debut album.

Harry Moon

The t-shirt design that accompanies this release features a cartoon of Harry Potter and Sailor Moon combined into one surreal character. Elizabeth Creaghan (responsible for the cover of Parrot Stories) was asked to produce this image and did. The idea sprang from a YouTube auto caption failure one of Alex's videos in February 2010.
